Nagano（長野）
Nagano Prefecture is located in the center of Honshu. Surrounded by mountains 2,000 to 3,000 meters above sea level, it is a tourist destination rich in nature. Karuizawa is famous as a summer resort in summer and Hakuba as a ski resort in winter. Narai and Tsumagojuku, inn towns of the Edo period, have townscapes that retain vestiges of the Edo period. Soba (buckwheat noodles) made with clean water and high-quality buckwheat flour is exquisite. The Matsudai-han Sanada Jumangoku Festival is famous for its parade of hundreds of people dressed in costumes from the Warring States period. 本州のほぼ中央に位置する。標高2000～3000メートル級の山々に囲まれる自然豊かな観光地。夏は避暑地として軽井沢、冬はスキーリゾートとして白馬が有名。江戸時代の宿場町 奈良井・妻籠宿は江戸時代の面影を残す町並みが広がっている。きれいな水と上質のそば粉で作られた そば は絶品である。イベントは戦国時代の衣装を身に着けた数百人が練り歩く松代藩真田十万石まつりが有名である。
