Yamanashi（山梨）
Located at the foot of Mt. Fuji for those who cannot climb the mountain but wish to visit the mountain, you can drive to Yoshida-guchi, the fifth station of Mt. Kawaguchiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, is a popular resort area. Kiyosato and Kobuchizawa offer highland resorts. Yamanashi Prefecture is one of Japan's foremost fruit kingdoms. Katsunuma, in particular, is the birthplace of Japanese wine and is dotted with as many as 80 unique wineries. One of the most popular events in Yamanashi is the Shingenkyo Festival, which celebrates the feudal warlord Shingen. 富士山の麓に位置する。登山は無理でも富士山に行きたい人には車で富士山5合目の吉田口まで行ける。富士五湖の一つ川口湖は人気のリゾート地。清里・小淵沢では高原リゾートが楽しめる。山梨県は日本屈指のフルーツ王国である。特に勝沼は日本ワインの発祥地でもあり、80もの個性的なワイナリーが点在する。イベントとしては、戦国武将の信玄公祭りがある。
